Lockdown restrictions are finally beginning to lift and we are super excited to get back to the Padstow Food Fair on Sunday 18th April. Although we have been busy with Valentines, Mothering Sunday and Easter treats we have also found time to plan the new season ahead and we are pleased to announce that we have got lots of treats in store for you, so don't even consider dieting!
We shall be returning to the Padstow Food Fair in the Memorial Hall opposite the Harbour Car Park with all our favourites of lemon drizzle cake, chocolate brownie, flapjack, pocket fruit pies and scones just to name a few but we've also invested in a new fridge display cabinet meaning we can now offer our desserts on the stall. So prepare yourself for plenty of colourful, fresh and fruity desserts perfect for a summer's evening garden party or barbecue on the beach. Desserts to look out for are:
Passion fruit and white chocolate cheesecake; a crunchy biscuit base topped with dreamy white chocolate cheesecake and passion fruit gel
Iced eclairs filled with fresh cream, fruit and finished on top with colourful icings or chocolate
Fresh fruit and cream meringue roulades; marshmallowy meringue with a zesty or fruity fresh cream filling
Fresh fruit tarts; sweet shortcrust pastry filled with panna cotta or sweet custard and topped with glazed fresh fruit.
Do keep your eyes peeled for what will be on offer each day at the market as we will keep changing it up, so you can always expect to be tempted by something new and different!
We will also be putting together our summer menu for our afternoon tea hamper and desserts which will be available to order for delivery to your door. Our hampers make the perfect foodie gift and our desserts are made to order to cater for any size, giving you the perfect excuse to celebrate being able to socialise with friends and loved ones again.
So if you're out and about in Padstow do stop by and say hello, The Padstow Food Fair will be open Sunday to Wednesdays to begin with and will then be Sunday to Tuesdays but we'll keep you posted on dates and times as we move through the season. If you don't feel quite ready to brave Padstow yet, then we can deliver any day of the week and require two day's notice for orders (T&C's apply for delivery, please contact us for further details).
